The Department of Tour and Travel at Govt. College Bilaspur envisions becoming a leading center of excellence in imparting quality education in the field of Tourism and Travel. We aim to inspire students to pursue Tourism as a major subject in Higher Education, fostering creativity, research orientation, and holistic knowledge. Our vision is to create a platform for students to showcase their talents, enhance communication skills, and contribute to the growth of the tourism industry.

  • Impart Employability Skills: Providing specialized training to enhance employability skills and prepare students for successful careers in the tourism sector.
  • Offer Trainings/Internships: Facilitating practical exposure through industry internships and training programs to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry requirements.
  • Publish Tourism Magazine: Creating a college-level tourism magazine to promote research, writing, and publication skills among students.
  • Inculcate Social Awareness and Leadership: Integrating social awareness initiatives and leadership development programs to instill a sense of responsibility and leadership qualities among students.
