Department of Education was started in 2018 with the notification of HP University.The course offered in the department is BA with Education.At present 80 seats are available in the department with CBC system.
Thrust Areas of Department
Department of Education focuses upon all round development of students . Specific attention is given to inculcate various skills which are required for future educators. As the course itself was basically designed to give students complete understanding of the field of Education in present scenario.
Faculty
At present department has one sanctioned post according to the norms of the university which was filled in 2018 .
Assistant Professor Sonika Sombal is at present HOD of the department.
Qualification: MA English, M.Ed JRF qualified
